Sayonara

The boat was built in 1940 at the German shipyard in Szczecin as a fishing cutter. It was purchased by Walter Kaminski in the East German BRD in "scrap boat" event in 1960. Four years later, it was rebuilt into a avocational Gaff Ketch and was named Sayonara – this sailboat sailed over the Baltic, North, Norwegian sea and completed Atlantic crossings. The general reconstruction of the ship took place in 1988. In 2009, Sayonara was bought by Jaroslav Bernt and commenced a voyage around the world (2010 - 2013). More info: sysayonara.cz
